Lynda Pleet Menagerie

In her highly individualistic style, fine artist Lynda Pleet has given the very familiar theme of cats and dogs a new and refreshing look.

Born in Baltimore, Lynda earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, followed by a Masters of Fine Arts degree conferred by Carnegie Mellon University.  Lynda applies her extensive training to create striking, stylized interpretations of familiar furry friends.

Lynda emphasizes capturing animals’ spirits, and the resulting clear linear forms and quirky countenances lend her creatures a playful sophistication.  Their realistic poses and colorations make them leap to life!
